Surfacing wide, oversized hardwood lumber to a specific thickness requires a machine that has plenty of power to remove the excess material quickly and accurately.

Rikon 25″ planer 23-630H features a helical cutterhead with carbide insert cutters that can handle these conditions and produce smooth surfaces that require little sanding before finishing. This hi-tech machine has two separate motors that drive the cutterhead, vary the infeed speed rate, and also lifts the table to required heights for the passing of lumber through the cutterhead. Front push button control panel makes selecting these critical settings amazingly simple and exact. No more guessing, hand cranking to adjust the table height, or taking repeated lumber measurements to confirm thicknesses settings. Massive cast iron table has 4 heavy pillars for excellent support. Top of the cabinet lifts open for easy access to the cutterhead for rotating or changing cutters. Micro-switch prevents any accidental starting of the machine when the lid is open. Top of the cabinet has a felt pad for passing lumber over the unit for repeat cuts. 25″ Helical Head Planer #23-630H has a big 10HP motor running a large 4-row helical cutterhead with 104-Pcs, 4-sided carbide insert cutters. Our largest planer cuts up to a max. 24-13/16″ wide board, and thickness from 7/32″ to 11-13/16″.
