The CKG1640D is a classically-styled, high-quality Surface Grinder with 3-axis automatic-feed (table, column and spindle head), including magnetic chuck and coolant, which for whose need the works more efficient than manual operation models! Heavy castings, smooth operation, and dependable precision are built into this well-made unit. The manual feeds for 3-axis with the precision handwheel controls are no problem. The cross feed handwheel is graduated in 0.02mm (0.001") increments and moves the table 5mm (0.2") per revolution, automatic and rapid cross feeds are available. The vertical feed handwheel is graduated in 0.01/0.001mm (0.004"/0.0004") up/down increments and moves the grinding wheel elevation 2mm/0.5mm (0.1"/0.02") per revolution, automatic down feed rate is 0.005~0.025mm. To ensure an extremely high degree of accuracy, the table is constructed with precision hardened and ground double V-ways for longitudinal feed, and the spindle uses super-precision P4 spindle bearings.
